VICE Ganda and her It’s Showtime co-hosts are feeling a mixture of disappointment and extreme concern with the cancellation of their taping last August 11.
It’s Showtime, which currently airs on Sky Cable’s Kapamilya Channel and other digital platforms, is supposed to resume taping for new episodes good for a couple of weeks.
While following very strict protocols, all of the hosts including Vice underwent swab tests that all came in negative. However, the results of the staff’s swab tests are not yet in, which led to the cancellation of the show’s taping to the disappointment of everybody involved.
“It’s very sad kasi miss na miss na naming mag-work at magsama-sama ulit,” says Vice who is also actively part of the conceptualization and approval of the noontime variety show’s contents.
Vice further stresses out that while income is extremely important, health and safety will always be of utmost priority above all else.
Vice says that taping for It’s Showtime will soon resume as soon as all results of the swab tests comes out, hopefully with favorable results.
